Chad Szeliga, fomer drummer of Breaking Benjamin, joins OurAfter

Scranton, PA based Alternative Rock Band OurAfter welcomed Chad Szeliga, drummer of Breaking Benjamin, as the new official drummer of the band earlier this week.  OurAfter, a band with a great deal of press in the underground Rock Scene in Pennsylvania after it’s EP release ‘Tabula Rasa”, has been performing shows with Szeliga for a period off and on for over two months.   Szeliga, who still actively serves with Breaking Benjamin, will be making appearances with the band in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and the Scranton/Wilkes-barre area within the next two months of random touring dates.  The band is currently writing new material and plans to enter the studio by August of 2009 to release a new EP.

With recent openings for National Recording acts such as Red, Rev Theory, Saving Abel, and Hoobastank, the band’s buzz has grown vastly throughout their touring region.   The band has received massive amount of acclaim across the globe from e-zines on the grounds for it’s catchy riffs, hard work and dedication though it’s independent promoting, and overall unique sound.   The band’s uniqueness is also attributed to it’s Chapman Stick player, Michael Dudley.
